Cisco UCS Design, Installation & Configuration

Data Center forms the basis of the modern ICT infrastructure. Previously Data Center components have been divided into three categories; Servers, Local Area Network and Storage Area Network. With the new system-level architectures the borders between these three silos are not so visible any longer. This change allows e.g. better management, scalability and service creation.

Cisco Unified Computing System presents next-generation architecture for data centers. UCS is an integrated solution, which contains all elements from servers to modern storage networking technology. Effective management tools and thoroughly tested systems enable the creation of both private and public clouds via UCS.

The purpose of this course is to take a look at the installation, implementation and operation of Cisco UCS system. The approach is practical – concise theory sections are followed by hands-on labs, which are done in actual Cisco UCS system.

Target Group: Personnel that need to do implementation and operation work on Cisco UCS systems.

Course Goal: The goal of this course is to take a look at the various administrative tasks on Cisco UCS system so that after the course, personnel is capable of doing these tasks individually.
